Button integration

Give your guests quick access to a customized page by adding buttons to your website.  The button will navigate to a customized page that will automatically create the guest enquiry or reservation within your Booksure dashboard.  This is particularly useful to avoid typing errors when copying over information in order to send a quotation.   The page that is displayed to your guest can be customized so that your branding is displayed.  For more information about this customization, view the Booksure integration tutorial.

From within the 'Website Integration' menu, click on the 'Button Integration' tab.

Button Integration Tab

There are a number of pre-customized buttons to choose from.  You also have the option to use your own button that would need to be linked to the applicable Booksure page.

First select a colour that compliments your site by clicking on the down-arrow key.  This will open up the drop-down list where you can select your colour.  Select from one of 2 available button sized, small and medium.  Hover over the button to see how the colour changes.  Now that you have selected a colour and size, you may click on the 'Use Booksure Button' which will open a pop-up window.   This code will need to be embedded in your website to correctly display the button.  If you have your own button that you would like to use, click on 'Use own button' to display the code to be embedded in your site.

What do the different buttons do?
If your establishment is not real-time enabled, you will only have access to the Enquiry button.  For more information on real-time, please visit the Understanding Real-time tutorial.

Enquiry Button:
The button will navigate to a page where the guest will be able to enter details of  accommodation requested.  You will receive an email notification of the new enquiry.  Depending on whether SMSes are enabled on your account, you will also receive an SMS notification.  The enquiry will automatically be made available on your dashboard whereby you will be able to send your guest a quote, send a message or decline the reservation request should you be unable to accommodate your guest.  The enquiry will only become a confirmed reservation when a payment has been made by your guest.

Book Now Button:

The button will navigate to a page where guest will be able to enter details of  accommodation required.   Because real-time is enabled,  the software will match availability against the accommodation requested.  If accommodation is available, the guest will be able to pay immediately in order to confirm the booking.  You will receive an email notification of the new confirmed reservation.  Depending on whether SMSes are enabled on your account, you will also receive an SMS notification.  The booking calendar will be automatically updated and should your account be integrated with any other booking channels, eg. Booking.com, the channel calendar will also be updated.

Check Availability Button:

The button will navigate to a page that displays a 10 day view of availability from the current date.   From within the calendar, the guest will be able to complete a real-time booking or send an enquiry to the establishment.
