Cancellation terms set up

Setting up you various Cancellation Terms

You may want to have different cancellation terms that are applicable for different times of the year.

Step 1

From within your Booksure Dashboard, click on the Settings menu, and select Policies



 

Step 2

Scroll to the bottom of the page.  To add a new cancellation term, click on the Add New Cancellation Term button.


Step 3

This will open the Add New Cancel Term pop up.  Here you can choose between either editing the Templated Terms, or alternatively, adding you Own Terms.

To edit the Templated Terms, first enter your cancellation terms Title.  Thereafter alter all of the applicable days, percentages and indicate whether this is calculated off of the booking or deposit.  Add in the Additional cancellation fee amount, if applicable.  Please note that this cancellation term will be set as your Default term.  Should you not want this, please click on the box alongside Set as Default to clear this.

Once you have verified that all of the information entered is correct, please click on the Add New Cancellation Term button to save your changes.



Step 4

In the event that you would prefer to add your Own Terms, please click on the circle next to Own Terms in the Add New Cancel Terms pop up.  Please provide your new cancellation term with a Title.  Thereafter, enter the text that you would like to appear in the text box.  Please note that this cancellation term will be set as your Default term.  Should you not want this, please click on the box alongside Set as Default to clear this.

Once you have verified that all of the information entered is correct, please click on the Add New Cancellation Term button to save your changes.


Step 5

To edit an existing cancellation term, click on the Edit link that appear alongside the applicable term.



Make the necessary changes to the cancellation terms, and once verified, click on the Save button.
