How to edit availability

For the purpose of this tutorial, the assumption has been made that your availability has previously been captured in your Booksure RMS.  If you adjust the availability, the adjusted value will display on all affiliates sites, your website (should you have Booksure widgets enabled on your website) as well as on any other booking channels that may be integrated with Booksure.

Step 1

From within your Booksure Dashboard, click on the Pricing, and select Real-time Rates.

This will take you to the Base Rates page.  Here you will see your rooms listed, as well as the availability, rates type which you had previously set up in Setting – Rooms. 

Step 2

Select the dates for which you wish to adjust your availability by clicking date that appears next to Scroll To Date, and selecting it from the calendar that appears.

Locate the applicable room to be updated.  Place your mouse cursor in the Qty text box for the applicable date that you wish to alter, and overwrite the room quantity by typing the updated quantity there.  The availability in Booksure is calculated by taking this Room Qty minus any bookings captured in Booksure.

Once you have verified that the information entered is correct, please click on the Save Changes button.  These rooms now show an availability of 0.

Our Cottages now show as unavailable over the specified date on the listings.

Step 3

Should you wish to shut down a room for an extended period of time due to renovations etc, please make use of the bulk updater.  To do this please click on the orange Update Base Range for Date Range button.

This will open a Bulk Updater pop up.

Select the Room to which you would like to update the availability for, by clicking on the applicable box alongside the room name.

Thereafter, select the From and To dates that you would like the availability to be applicable over.

Select Which Days you would want the availability to apply to by clicking on the boxes that appear alongside them.

Under Set Room Quantity, click on the box that appears alongside this to indicate the number of rooms that you would like to set as available over the indicated period.  Thereafter, enter the numerical number in the box that appears to the right of this.

Once you have verified that all of information entered is correct, click on the Save button to save your changes.

The updated availability information will now appear within your Base Rates Page.

Our Caribbean Cottage now shows as unavailable over the specified date on the listings.
