From within the Website Integration menu, click on the Widget Integration tab.

What is a widget?

A widgets is a small pieces of code that provides an interface to your Booksure information. These widgets can be customized by changing the colours and font styles. They can then be embedded within your own website or that of an affiliate to enable your guest to easily access your booking system and to streamline the booking process.


 
Are all widgets available?

If your establishment is not real-time enabled, you will not have access to all widgets.  For more information on real-time, please visit the Understanding Real-time tutorial.


How to set up a widget

The first step in embedding a widget, is to select a colour combination that will be compatible with your website. 
Click within the colour textbox to bring up the colour picker tool.

When the colour picker panel opens, you will be able to select and change your colours by dragging the tiny circles located along the outer circle or along the inside square as per the image below. 

 
 
Once the colours have been defined for each option, click on the Save colour combination.  
 
Next to each widget will be a Preview and a Get Code button.  You will be able to preview each widget to determine how the selected colours will display.   Click on the 'Get Code' button in order to retrieve the code that is to be embedded in your website. 
 
 
Enquiry Widget:

The guest will be able to enter details of accommodation requested.  You will receive an email notification of the new enquiry.  Depending on whether SMSes are enabled on your account, you will also receive an SMS notification.   The enquiry will automatically be made available on your dashboard whereby you will be able to send your guest a quote, send a message or decline the reservation request should you be unable to accommodate your guest.   The enquiry will only become a confirmed reservation when a payment has been made by your guest.

Manage Reservation Widget:

This small widget can be embedded on your website and will give guests instant access to view their booking information.  By entering their reservation number and email address or last name, your guest will be taken to a customized view of their reservation.  From within this page, they will be able to view their booking information, make additional payments and send messages.

Book Now Widget:    

The guest will be able to enter details of  accommodation required.   Because real-time is enabled,  the software will match availability against the accommodation requested.  If accommodation is available, the guest will be able to pay immediately in order to confirm the booking.  You will receive an email notification of the new confirmed reservation.  Depending on whether SMSes are enabled on your account, you will also receive an SMS notification.  The booking calendar will be automatically updated and should your account be integrated with any other booking channels, eg. Booking.com, the channel calendar will also be updated.

Rooms Widget:    

The guest will be able to view details of the rooms offered at your Establishment.  From within this widget, the guest will be able to complete a real-time booking for a room or send an enquiry to the establishment.

Availability Widget:    

The widget will open preloaded with a 10 day view of available rooms.  From within the calendar, the guest will be able to complete a real-time booking or send an enquiry to the establishment.

Date Search Widget:    

This widget is similar to the availability widget above, however, a date selection will be displayed on your page.  The guest will be able to enter details of  dates of arrival / departure.   Because real-time is enabled,  the software will match availability against the accommodation requested and return a calendar version of availability.  From within the calendar, the guest will be able to complete a real-time booking or send an enquiry to the establishment.
